Bio
While Anthony works professionally in film and video production, contributing to many projects recognized around the world. Painting and animation have always been a particular fascination for him. These days he enjoys combining those once juxtaposed interests into new digital works. Always creating and experimenting he doesn’t stick to one single interest or style but loves it all and takes pleasure in the wonder of creation.
Winning artistic awards from a young age and winning a full-tuition scholarship to study Anthony took up graphic design and television production. After college, he worked in Hollywood directly with Roger Corman, and was the prop master of the Beverly hills Dimond jubilee a star-studded celebration produced by Radio City Music Hall and Wenda Fong. Since then, he has been considered the go-to artist on numerous big-budget feature films, television commercials, music videos, and permanent theme park installations.
Onward to Calgary, a feature film directed by Jim Ether, was produced by Anthony. This extraordinary, unconventional feature-length film was premiered at Boston Underground Film Festival in 2008. This highly creative and daring film about a curious young man on a quest for freedom proves Anthony’s exceptional vision and fine intuition.
More recently, he has collaborated with international video art projects. His collaboration with visual artist Simone Stoll has garnered much recognition including premieres of their art videos the Biennale of Québec, Canada, and the Film and Video Festival Athens, to name a few. His participation in the Exquisite Corpse Video Project curated by Kika Nicolas has been viewed in museums and galleries around the world. The ECVP recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary, has 6 volumes, and has been screened more than 50 times in over 15 counties.
His current work still incorporates his predominant themes, empathy, disfunction, and protest but has taken a slight turn towards the digital realm. The advent of NTFs has given Anthony a fresh inspiration to combine his traditional painting and his digital skills to create something new and remarkable. These pieces are then minted to the blockchain as a permanent record.
Anthony currently resides in Frankfurt am Main Germany.
